Dina E. Cox Dina E. Cox is a writer, musician, wife and grandmother living just north of Toronto. A former high school English teacher, she has free-lanced prose articles, and writes poetry when she isn’t doing grandmotherly things. Her poetry has been published in a variety of journals and anthologies in Canada, the U.S., Bulgaria and Ireland. She won the Betty Drevniok Award 2000, and in 2005 she received an honourable mention in that contest. In addition to haiku, tanka and sijo, Dina also writes longer poetry, and in 2012 her first collection of poetry was published with Signature Editions (Winnipeg), titled small flames.
